Thousands of law enforcement officers, survivors and supporters have gathered this week in Washington D.C. for National Police Week, a week dedicated to honoring officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and supporting the families and agencies they left behind.
On Friday 15 May the 45th Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service takes place sponsored by the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police and the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary. The memorial service on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol honours officers who recently died in the line of duty and pays tribute to all fallen officers.
