I am deeply concerned by the possibility of early release for Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers, who were convicted following the death of PC Andrew Harper.
Having attended Andrew’s funeral in October 2019, I witnessed first-hand the immense sense of loss felt by his family, friends, colleagues and the wider policing community.
Andrew represented the very best of policing. His sacrifice must never be forgotten, and those who loved him — including his wife Lissie and his family – must not be let down.
