A few days ago, the CCOO received the news that the Ministry of Health of the Spanish Government, had issued an instruction in which it is communicated to the Ministries of Interior and Defense that, from March to June, will be vaccinated against COVID 19 in the State Security Forces and Corps and the Armed Forces, as they are considered “risk groups”.
From the Public Security Group of the Federation of Citizen Services of CCOO, we have addressed the aforementioned Ministry of Health of the Spanish Government, to express that it seemed completely inadmissible to make the work invisible and the effort made by the regional and local police in this pandemic, because they are and have always been at the forefront of providing service to the public.
Last Monday we received a response to the complaint expressed by CCOO by the Secretary of State for Health, Silvia Calzón, who states that the role of regional and local police, we are part of the professions of essential work in the develop especially critical services with an essential function for society.
