EuroCOP President Jonne Rinne and EuroCOP Head of Office Nigel Dennis met with Jeroen Lenaers MEP. This was an occasion to discuss the topic of Violence against Police officers in Europe and potential initiatives at EU level. We presented the EuroCOP position paper and argued for establishing a common EU repository of data on violence against police officers.
We would like to thank Jeroen Lenaers MEP for his up-to-date engagement into the topic and his support for police officers in Europe. We look forward to working together in the future in order to reduce violence against police as well as to improve working conditions of police officers.
