EuroCOP continues advocating for common EU action to fight #violence against the police. Àngels Bosch, Member of the EuroCOP Executive Committee, has spoken in front of the Law Enforcement Working Party, in the Council of the European Union.
Àngels presented EuroCOP’s position on violence against the police and the need to establish a common European repository of data. Violence against the police is on its rise in the EU and there is a need for coordinated action at EU level. EuroCOP stays committed to bring this topic high at EU agenda and is continuously engaging with representatives of the EU institutions.
We would like to thank the Belgian Presidency of the Council of European Union for giving EuroCOP the opportunity to discuss this extremally important topic with representatives of EU Member States.
