Our latest contribution is to the European Commission consultation on the EU Strategy on Victims’ Rights.
Police officers are often the first point of contact for victims of crime. Their frontline experience gives them an important perspective on how victims are supported, protected and treated throughout the justice process. By engaging directly with EU consultations, EuroCOP ensures that the experience and expertise of police officers and our member organisations across Europe are represented where decisions are being shaped. This is an important part of EuroCOP’s work — influencing at European level, contributing constructively to policy development and making sure the voice of policing is heard.
