EuroCOP shall actively support the Commission in looking into the proposal of rules to protect victims of gender-based violence and in effectively punishing offenders through the judicial system.
Victims of such heinous acts should have the expectation that the law will effectively and compassionately protect them.
The judicial system should be constructed in such way that allows the Courts to pass impactive and effective sentences to those found guilty through due judicial process of these abominable criminal acts.
